Xu Du wins major research award
Assistant Professor Xu Du is one of the 34 young scientists funded by the Air Force Young Investigators Research Program. See more at: http://www.wpafb.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123173414

Getting major funding within two months of starting in Stony Brook is an exceptional achievement that can be credited primarily to Xu's talents. Senior faculty, including Kostya Likharev and Jim Lukens, and former chair Peter Koch contributed to this success by helping him in various ways. Thanks to them, and congratulations to Xu!
