Nucleon-Decay and Neutrino Physics with Professor Chang-Kee Jung In the past several years the Nucleon-Decay and Neutrino Physics (NN) Group led by Prof. Jung has been involved with major neutrino-detector projects in Japan and elsewhere that have uncovered fundamental new physics beyond the Standard Model (neutrino oscillations). A number of Stony Brook undergraduates have been part of these efforts, both here and at the detector sites in Japan. Currently this activity is at a reduced level, but Prof. Jung would welcome students who wish to read independently papers related to neutrino physics and participate in group meetings. October 2003
